“Dear fans,” Stefanos Tstsipas begins his latest vlog for Tennis Channel, “sometimes, all you need in life is a tennis racquet, a passport and a dream.”

It doesn’t hurt, though, to have someone who shares those feelings alongside you.

Such is the focus of the itinerant Greek’s new, feel-heavy longform video release, which features Tsitsipas and his traveling partner as they venture somewhere not exactly suited for tennis: Iceland.

“On this memorable adventure,” says a charming Tsitsipas, “I enlisted the help of the famous Spanish explorer, Paula Badosa.”

But, in Tsitsidosa’s case, perfectly suited for their brief off-season.

The nearly 20-minute video, available on TennisChannel.com in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Spain, takes you through the popular pair’s journey in the (sometimes) freezing, faraway land.

They begin at Deplar Farm, in the country’s northern hills, for snowshoeing, horseback riding and whale watching. None of which are easy when trying to capture moments on camera.

“OK guys, I’m on the floor now,” says Tsitsipas after falling in the snow, “I was playing smart-ass vloging and not using my sticks.”

He was smarter, thankfully, while aboard a boat in the Arctic Ocean, traversing across one of the country’s longest fjords—the Eyjafjörður—to catch a glimpse of the famous sea creatures.

From there, Tsitsidosa headed to the capital city of Reykjavík for more Icelandic culture, scenery and food.

First, though: a stop at the famous hot springs, where geothermal heat literally helps fuel this land. And, in its lava fields, bake bread. (Yes, incredibly, via volcanic heat.)

It was both “educational and eye-opening,” a rapt Tsitsipas says.

And, after a subsequent waterfall visit, hunger-inducing.

“After burning enough calories to equal a five-set match, we rewarded ourselves with an amazing feast at an indoor farm,” Tsitsipas notes.

“I think for him,” Badosa says, “it’s more expensive to take me on a date for food, than shopping.”

Lucky for us, we got to experience this date for free.

“Known as a winter wonderland, this place warmed our hearts, and filled our buckets mentally, physically and spiritually,” closes Tsitsipas. “Iceland, we thank you.”
