Move over, young tweener kings Jack Sock and Nick Kyrgios: It looks like the old guy’s still got it.

Deep in the second set of his final-round qualifying match against John-Patrick Smith, Radek Stepanek hit a passing shot that was anything but routine.

After Smith served and volleyed, the 38-year-old Stepanek punished his first volley with a bold tweener to win the point. This wasn’t your average tweener: It had almost as much stick on it as a regular forehand.

Not that Stepanek needs much to get him pumped up, but this hot shot did the trick as he couldn’t help but celebrate his own efforts.

Stepanek beat Smith in straight sets to qualify for the main draw. The Czech then kept the train roaring by beating fellow veteran Dmitry Tursunov in the first round to set up a clash with No. 11 seed David Goffin.
