Wimbledon is a place and tournament of tradition. The all-white dress code, strawberries and cream, the perfectly manicured grass-courts—it's a place where nothing much has changed since it all began back in 1877.
However, Chris Fava decided it was time for a little change that soon would also become tradition. Fava is a creative director from Venice Beach, California who loves the sport and made a last minute trip to London years ago. It would not be the last.
In 2013, the Californian decided to take a risk, buy a costume, and sneak through security to reveal "blue sky man." This unique idea would start a frenzy that all Wimbledon fans and even players instantly loved and soon would embrace as its new tradition.
