Move over Kristina Mladenovic and Dominic Thiem, there's a new tennis "it" couple in town. Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils have broken the mold on what "Instagram official" is by posting a collage-type video of each other on their new joint Instagram page.

After her second-round win in Melbourne, the world No. 7 was asked about Monfils because the 32-year-old Frenchman was seated in her player box.

"He's there for me. He's there [to] support me and I'm there for him as well," Svitolina said in press after. "He understands, I understand what he's going through.

"Yeah we are dating."

The 24-year-old Ukrainian has breezed into the third round, while the world No. 33-ranked Monfils lost in the second round to Taylor Fritz. Svitolina will play world No. 40 Shuai Zhang next.
