Iga Swiatek soaked up her maiden Grand Slam win in Paris by emerging from the bubble for the traditional champion's photoshoot. With the Eiffel Tower in the backdrop, she beamed with the Suzanne-Lenglen Cup in a brightly colored ankle-length dress.

The 19-year-old Pole didn't lose a set during her flawless fortnight, complete with a 6-1, 6-2 win over No. 1 seed Simona Halep and a 6-4, 6-1 victory over No. 4 seed Sofia Kenin in the final. She seems more than ready for the spotlight.

"I think I'm going to, like, get used to that, it's not going to be a problem for me," she said of her new fame. "I didn't have problem with, like, getting attention, with people surrounding me. I think it's going to be OK for me."

The only time nerves seemed to present itself was during her post-match interview with Marion Bartoli and her trophy presentation speech.

"Well, I know my speech wasn't perfect," she told press afterward. "I basically didn't know what to say. I think I had a mess in my head really. It's hard to say."

Her stumbles were charming and reminiscent of when a 20-year-old Naomi Osaka gave her first winner's speech at Indian Wells in 2018. The two happen to be friends.
