A junior contemporary of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Kecmanovic broke into the Top 100 as a 19-year-old when he made the BNP Paribas Open quarterfinals. He won his first ATP title 18 months later and now, at 21 years old, is in search of his next breakout result.

The Top 50 mainstay hopes to find it with the help of former Wimbledon finalist David Nalbandian, whom he hired after the Australian Open.

"It means a lot to me to have David with me now. He was one of the best of his generation and his experience could really help me a lot," he told ATPTour.com. "We’re hoping my backhand might be similar to his!”

Finishing his clay-court swing on a high note, Kecmanovic shocked Monte Carlo semifinalist Daniel Evans in the first round, and will aim to go deeper at Wimbledon, where he is yet to surpass the second round.
