Alexei Popyrin completed his dream week at the Singapore Open. The 21-year-old defeated Alexander Bublik on Sunday to win his first career ATP title. The unseeded Aussie came back from a set down to dominate the No. 4 seed, dropping only six service points.

Popyrin was all smiles after the final, calling it a "dream come true."

Before this victory, Popyrin had only claimed 18 matches at the tour level and never reached the quarterfinals of an ATP event.

Previously ranked No. 114, the Aussie jumped 32 ranking sports to world No. 82, a new career-high. It's clear this is only the beginning for Popyrin who shared his thoughts after the victory.

“It feels unbelievable,” Popyrin said. “A lot of sacrifice, a lot of dedication and a lot of hard work went into this from myself, my team and my whole entire family. I have done it for everybody who was involved. I am just so proud that I could actually get it done.”
