The Baseline Top 10: Tennis babies of 2017

The 2017 season was filled with incredible comebacks, fairytale storylines and plenty of memorable moments. But it was also filled with something far more memorable than wins and losses: babies.

Here's a look at just some of tennis' newest family members:

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian's daughter was, quite fittingly, born during the US Open. She already has a growing fan base on Instagram and was front and center for her parents' wedding in November.

Novak and Jelena Djokovic welcomed a second child this fall, a little girl to become the play pal for three-year-old Stefan.

The Scot and his wife Kim Sears kept news of their second daughter a secret for weeks, and have yet to reveal a name, let alone a photo.

The Frenchman became a father for the first time in March, reportedly to a son named Sugar, with his girlfriend Noura el Shwekh.

Marcus Willis, the Cinderella story of Wimbledon 2016, added a daughter to his growing family with his wife, Jenny Bate (who has two young children from another relationship).

Minella played Wimbledon while pregnant with Emma Linda, who was born on October 30.

Like Tsonga, Juergen Melzer became a first-time father in March when his wife Fabienne Melzer-Nadarajah gave birth to a son.

Jarmila Wolfe (known on tour as Jarmila Gajdosova) retired in January, and had her daughter Natalia in November with her husband Adam Wolfe.

The new year will bring even more new members as Ana Ivanovic just recently announced that she is expecting.
