The ITF's Katrina Adams stays on the front lines for women with the Tory Burch Foundation Sports Fellowship

With the Australian Open just a month away, Novak Djokovic's participation remains unclear, but his name is still among those entered to compete at the first major of the year.

The Serbian player and world No. 1 has stated numerous times that he will not get vaccinated and believes it's a personal decision that shouldn't be forced. However, in order to compete at this year's Melbourne major he will have to get the jab says Craig Tiley. Only those that have a medical condition are exempt from this tournament mandate. This leaves Djokovic's attendance still up in the air as he will have to be vaccinated and with a chance to take the lead in most majors won on the ATP side—there's a lot at stake.

In other news, Peng Shuai's safety still remains uncertain since she accused former Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli of coercing her into sex. Although she has made public appearances, WTA CEO Steve Simon and many others are not convinced she is free and acting on her own terms.

"While it is positive to see her, it remains unclear if she is free and able to make decisions and actions on her own," Simon said.

After numerous attempts to make contact with Peng with no success, the WTA announced last week that all WTA events in China will be canceled as a result of her on-going censorship. Her safety remains the priority for not only the WTA, but the IOC, ITF and ATP.
