The most fun moments from the Fed Cup weekend

It's been a Fed Cup weekend to remember, with great moments being made both in the heat of battle and extracurricularly.

In addition to the United States keeping its title defense alive by beating France to make the final, tons of fun was had all around. Here are the Top 5 silly happenings:

The American and French teams had a "flossing" dance-off:

CoCo Vandeweghe fell in three sets to Kristina Mladenovic, but at least she was the weekend's best flosser.

Team USA would still reach the finals behind two wins from Sloane Stephens and one clinching victory from Madison Keys.

Naomi Osaka got Japan off to a winning start, but got the day the week totally wrong:

On Saturday, Osaka scored Japan's first point against Great Britain's Heather Watson, which helped the Japanese team eventually get to World Group II.

Osaka quickly noticed her mistake.

Cardboard-cutout heads took over the stands around the globe:

In Montreal, fans were more than ready for Eugenie Bouchard, who contributed two singles win's to Canada's World Group II Play-Offs victory versus Ukraine.

That tie had a lot of drama, including nominated No. 2 singles player Francoise Abanda falling just prior to her first match, and having to be replaced by 17-year-old Bianca Andreescu.

It was later revealed Abanda was dealing with whiplash and a black eye.

In Stuttgart, Barbora Strycova prank-interviewed her teammate Petra Kvitova:

The powerhouse Czech team went on to win four of five matches over Germany, reaching the final where they'll face off against the defending champions United States team.

Boy or girl? Daria Gavrilova lightened up the usually serious pre-match briefing by asking umpire Eva Asderaki-Moore about the gender of her baby:

The result of the doubles match wouldn't matter, as Australia had already clinched the World Group Play-Offs tie over The Netherlands by a 3-1 score.
