Therabody unveils three next generation devices in its Theragun line

Whether to warm-up for exercise, hasten recovery or treat nagging injuries, percussive massage tools have become a fitness staple. Athletes can get a professional-grade rubdown to stimulate blood flow, ease muscle tension and increase range of motion in a convenient handheld device. Theragun has been at the forefront of the technology. The devices started out primarily focused on the therapeutic benefits of vibration and have grown to include numerous modalities, evolving the brand into Therabody.

Theragun Pro Plus ($599)

The top-tier model in the Therabody lineup is the definitive multi-therapy massage and recovery device.

Designed specifically for prosumers (professional medical and therapeutic practitioners) and athletes of all stripes, the brand’s most innovative and powerful tool to date comes with five different attachments and six unique treatments such as classic percussive, heat, and near infrared LED light therapies. A cold treatment attachment is sold separately. The gun’s built-in biometric sensor can monitor heartrate during breathwork protocols to encourage relaxation.

An LCD screen allows you to easily toggle between the various settings and follow guided routines on the device, or paired with the Therabody app.

Theragun Sense ($299)

The Sense provides moderate percussive massage to relieve pain and stress to create calming throughout the body. Like the Pro Plus, it has a built-in biometric sensor that reads the user’s heartrate.

Combined with haptic vibrations and guided breathwork, it helps relax the body and ease the mind. The gun comes with four attachments and five visually guided routines with the ability to save additional favorites from the Therabody app, including TheraMind sound therapy.

Use it to reduce tension at the end of the day and slip into a peaceful state before bed.

Theragun Relief ($149)

Light and easy to use, the Relief is the perfect option for people who want an effective massager without a lot of bells and whistles. It comes with three attachments to target trouble spots and one-touch on/off for immediate operation. Throw it in your tennis bag for a quick pregame warm-up or to keep muscles from tightening up after a long match.
