Tiafoe hits running hot shot at ATP Challenger

At the ATP Challenger in Tiburon, Calif., Frances Tiafoe pulled out all the stops to win a point against fellow American Alexander Sarkisson. Tiafoe won the match 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 to advance to the second round.

Ranked No. 121, the fourth seed at the $100,000 event is on the verge of finishing the season inside the Top 100. He won his first ATP Challenger title last month in Granby, Canada.

There are currently seven Americans inside the Top 100, led by No. 23-ranked Steve Johnson.
