Tennis players often are said to put forth superhuman efforts to win intense tennis matches. But what superpower would the world's best men pick if given the choice? This week, we found out.

Some players made their selections based on how the enhanced ability would help the tennis games. Take Jack Draper's desire to travel through time as one example.

"Something like being able to go back in time I think would be amazing," the Brit confessed, "especially in tennis. Being able to change the outcome of a bad service game that will lose you the match, or something."

Holger Rune picked the ability to "jump crazy high" to improve his skills on the court, too.

"For the serve, I would be able to ace anyone, and I could come to the net all the time and nobody could lob me," the Dane said.

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner wants to read minds, while Brandon Nakashima wants the power of invisibility. While Alexander Zverev couldn't choose between flying or talking to animals, Ugo Humbert and Zhang Zhizhen both made a practical pick tied to easing one of the biggest burdens of a tennis career.

"My home is in China, so ... I don't need to spend all the time flying, flying," Zhang said. "I can be one moment, click, to my home, click to the court, or sometimes, if I'm late, I can click from my room down to [hotel] lobby reception."

But the highlight belonged to Hubert Hurkacz, who stole the show by misunderstanding the question and telling the interviewer his favorite soup.

"Onion cream soup," the Pole earnestly replied. "I just ate it some time ago and I enjoyed it."
