On Saturday in Paris, Iga Swiatek became the first player from Poland to win a Grand Slam title when she dismissed No. 4 seed Sofia Kenin, 6-4, 6-1. The 19-year-old didn't lose a set all fortnight long and was unseeded, making her feat even more remarkable.

Swiatek and Kenin started off in a first-set battle before Swiatek began running away with it. Though playing in her first major final, it certainly didn't look like it. Her previous best run at a Grand Slam was the fourth round.
