Jennifer Brady has come all the way from qualifying to reach the semifinals of the Dubai WTA Premier this week. She's taken out Elina Svitolina, Marketa Vondrousova and Garbine Muguruza along the way.

Petra Martic is into her first semifinal appearance of 2020, in Dubai. The Croatian got past Anett Kontavei, 7-6 (4), 6-1, and will take onElena Rybakina for a spot in the final.

Rybakina managed to hit No.2 seed Karolina Pliskova off the court in Dubai to capture her first Top-5 win. The Kazakh posted a 7-6 (1), 6-3 score to advance to the semifinal. The No. 8 seed will attempt to keep her hot streak alive when she takes on Martic.

For the second time this week, Simona Halep dropped the first and battled her way back to victory. The two-time Grand Slam champion defeated Aryna Sabalenka, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, to make the Dubai semifinals, where she will face Brady.

Brandon Nakashima is making his ATP tour debut one to remember. The 18-year-old roared past Cameron Norrie, 7-5, 6-2, to keep his run alive in Delray Beach. Nakashima is the youngest quarterfinalist at the event in twelve years.
