As the year comes to a close, it seems fitting to go over the best shots that made everyone watching say, "How did they just do that?" Whether it's a lob, a tweener, a winner, or anything in between, they all share a common title: magic. These are the best hot shots of 2016.

In Rome, Serena Williams showed off her insane athleticism against Madison Keys during the final. As the all-American battle waged on, Keys was doing everything right by getting the ball deep and creating sharp angles. However, it still wasn't enough as Williams sprinted and stretched her way to winning a point that almost any other player would have lost.

Williams defeated Keys, 7-6 (5), 6-3, and claimed the Internazionali BNL d'Italia title.
