In what looks straight out of a scene from Finding Dory, CoCo Vandeweghe plunged into the waters of The Aquarium of Western Australia to share a home with Morticia the Stingray.

She also swam around with other creatures in the aquarium sea (like sharks).

You can't call a day like that anything other than a success. Vandeweghe's success has come on the court in Perth, too. She and Jack Sock have been representing Team USA at the Hopman Cup and have gone undefeated. They will battle with France for the title on Saturday.

Vandeweghe is no stranger to brazen ocean activities. Earlier in the week, the 25-year-old Californian took to the open Western Australian seas on a jet ski.

Vandeweghe's desire to seek out an adrenaline rush has become a regular part of her life on tour, saying opportunities like these make her "feel like a normal person."

"I'm active regardless. I like to do active things. I like to explore where I am," she said ahead of the 2017 season. "I get involved in the culture of things at all these amazing places that I go.

"I think it kind of takes me out of the tennis mind frame, which is almost like a break because you can drill yourself into a hole and not be able to get out playing week-in and week-out. So I think it's a nice break."
