Vandeweghe throws surprise birthday party for Rinaldi

U.S. Fed Cup captain Kathy Rinaldi's birthday falls during the Miami Open each year, so this week CoCo Vandeweghe surprised her with a birthday dinner in downtown Miami.

Rinaldi, who is in her second year as U.S. captain, broke down in tears seeing her teammates and other young Americans celebrating her special day.

Guests included Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Alison Riske, Irina Falconi, Shelby Rogers, Kristy Ahn, Jennifer Brady, Lauren Davis and more friends of Rinaldi.

Rinaldi led the United States team to the Fed Cup title last November.
