Despite losses in singles and then in doubles alongside affectionately overcompensating younger sister Serena Williams, Venus remains engaged in mixed doubles competition, announced Tuesday. That will take place alongside a fellow tall American, Rajeev Ram. The combined-age-68, aging-like-fine-wine pair will open their onslaught toward medals on Wednesday.
