There aren't many places in the world that Venus Williams' storied tennis career hasn't taken her, so when she got the opportunity to play at the Libéma Open in 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands last month for the first time, the former world No. 1 wasn't going to miss out on the opportunity to play tourist.

In her latest YouTube video, released Wednesday, Williams chronicled her trip, and took fans behind the scenes of the day she spent around town before heading to her next event in Birmingham. She, her team and her dog, Harry, visited the Kunstmuseum Den Haag and Barbarossa Beach in the video.

“We work really hard when we are on tour, but when we get days off I try to explore as much as I can!” she wrote in a tweet accompanying the video. “I really loved exploring the Netherlands, and everything about it was so beautiful!”

Williams has become a prolific vlogger in her most recent years on tour. On her YouTube channel, she gives fans an inside look at her training sessions, debriefs her matches, conducts Q&A sessions, and more.

After a first-round loss at Wimbledon to Elina Svitolina, Williams stuck around in Europe and visited another new locale: Last week, she was spotted training in Mallorca at Rafael Nadal’s eponymous tennis academy. She’s expected to return to the courts in Montreal in two weeks, having received a wild card to the WTA 1000 event.
