Verdasco expecting a baby with wife Ana Boyer

A wee one is on the way for Spanish tennis star Fernando Verdasco. The 34-year-old and his wife, Ana Boyer, revealed via their respective social media channels that they are expecting a child:

Their offspring's gender and due date were not disclosed in the posts, but all things in due time for the happy couple-turned-trio.

Verdasco and Boyer married in December 2017 after dating for half a decade. Boyer is a half-sibling to pop singer Enrique Iglesias, whose partner is retired WTA star Anna Kournikova. And with that knowledge, if you feel you need a tennis-relationships flowchart, you are not alone.

Perhaps help is on the way, catalyzed also by the new generations and lineages that still-active players are creating these days. The ATP-meets-WTA family tree will soon become a forest.
