Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina added a little more sparkling hardware to their growing collection by winning "Team of the Year" at the Russian Tennis Awards in Moscow.

The duo stepped out in their non-tennis attire best for the Monday night occasion:

Vesnina and Makarova won three titles this year, and finished No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. They won the Rogers Cup in Montreal, as well as gold in Rio before capping the year off with the WTA Finals championship trophy.

Vesnina also enjoyed a career-best singles year, reaching the Wimbledon semifinals and climbing to a high of No. 16.

Svetlana Kuznetsova, who didn't attend the ceremonies, won for best female player of the year after winning two titles and ending the year inside the Top 10 for the first time since 2009.
