The Warrior 100 has a solid, clean feel at contact that is not typical for frames of its head size and weight. Besides the comfortable response, testers found the racquet perfectly equipped to apply or absorb pace, performing equally well in offensive and defensive situations. Mid-court balls could be attacked with pace and spin; a short, blocking stroke resulted in surprising depth to extend a rally. As one tester put it, “There were so many times when I would shake my head because it seemed like my good shots became great with this racquet.”

Serving with the Warrior garnered particularly high marks. Testers found that they could generate plenty of heat, and the open string pattern—along with just enough flex—offered access to heavy kickers. It doesn’t have the high-end precision or stability found in heavier models, and possesses a serviceable level of touch—net play is more about driving the volley than dropping it. But it’s just so comfortable, forgiving and easy to play with that no matter the playing style, from aggressive counter-puncher to seasoned doubles veteran, the Warrior 100 can be a very effective weapon.
