WATCH: Eubanks hits the court with Jamie Foxx

Chris Eubanks had been keeping with some A-list company of late out in Hollywood.

That’s none other than Academy Award and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx with Eubanks; another former Georgia Tech standout, Phillip Gresk; and actor Alex Avant. The quartet made the rounds around town, with Foxx showing the way.

But with the tennis season back in semi-full swing, Eubanks had to hit the court again at some point. And while he’s out there, why not give Foxx a glimpse of what it’s like to face a pro?

The star was game, even while taking a 140 miles per hour serve straight into the body. Foxx did manage to hit a few balls back and forth with the former Yellowjacket, displaying some of the athleticism that helped him shine in the football movie, “Any Given Sunday.” However, this lighthearted encounter was the real deal.

In one of his upcoming movie roles, Foxx is set to play former heavyweight boxing champion—and tennis dad—Mike Tyson, who once famously said, “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” It looks like Eubanks was the one doing the punching on this occasion.
