WATCH: Federer brings back the SABR at Wimbledon

Roger Federer has breezed into the fourth round of Wimbledon to the surprise of pretty much no one. The only true surprise has been the new logos on his all-white outfit (thanks to his new deal with Uniqlo) and the return of the SABR—Sneaky Attack By Federer.

Taking on Jan-Lennard Struff on Friday, Federer showed off his return and dash skills, this time from his backhand wing:

He started doing the SABR in the summer of 2015, but it’s been a while since fans and his opponents have seen it.

“I can never practice it because how do you? I just feel like totally it's not really what you do in a practice with other guys,” Federer said. "I can only really practice it with my coach. That's why it disappeared a little bit."

Federer has yet to drop a set in London as he heads into the second week for the 16th time. His win earned him the record of most grass-court wins with 175. The 36-year-old may add a few more wins to that tally next week and you might see a few more SABRs.

“I always have to check the score first,” he said. “I’m happy I did it. I'm happy it worked. After that I feel like I got, how do you say, there is a buzz for me. I think it just helps me with keeping it exciting for me, as well, with options.”

Federer eased past Adrian Mannarino in straight sets on Monday to reach the quarterfinals.
