Seven-time Cincinnati champion Roger Federer looked and played like Darth Vader on Tuesday evening when he wore an all-back look to dismiss Peter Gojowczyk in his first match since Wimbledon.

The Swiss No. 2 seed played as solid as his color palette as he kicked off his US Open Series, beating Gojowczyk 6-4, 6-4.

Playing in only his second tournament with Uniqlo gear, Federer went from his all-white Wimbledon look to the bold, all-black look. The Darth Vadar term for Federer's all-black choices was first used with Nike back in 2007.

The 37-year-old also impressed his fans at the Western & Southern Open with some vintage shot-making.

Federer skipped the ATP Masters 1000 event in Toronto and this will be his only tune-up before heading to New York City.
