WATCH: Federer receives a Bud Collins tie

INDIAN WELLS — Anita Ruthling Klaussen, the wife of the late Bud Collins, personally gifted Roger Federer with one of her husband's ties on Thursday.

Federer, a 20-time Grand Slam champion who somehow always makes time for everyone, graciously accepted the pink and white polka-dotted tie. Pink was Collins' favorite color, said Ruthling Klaussen.

Collins, an award-winning reporter and broadcaster, passed way two years ago at the age of 86. He was famous for his work, of course, and his unique, colorful clothing choices.
