Coco Gauff is getting used to pressroom stages, but she stepped onto a different podium this week. In Delray Beach, Fla., the teenager gave a speech about the ongoing fight for justice in America.

"I think it's sad that I'm here protesting the same thing [my grandma] did 50-plus years ago," the 16-year-old said.

The world No. 52 received a lot of support in the comments from Chanda Rubin, Billie Jean King, Kim Clijsters and many more.

Gauff spoke about educating her friends, taking action and using her voice while expressing sadness over what she's been seeing for years.

"It breaks my heart," Gauff said. "I'm fighting for the future for my brothers. I'm fighting fo the future for my future kids. I’m fighting for the future for my future grandchildren.

Gauff may just be a teenager, but she's not afraid to step up for greater causes very, very early on in her career, and her life.

"So we must change now," she said. "I promise to always use my platform to spread vital information."
