Gift Wrapping Challenge with Emma Navarro and Ben Shelton

"I probably give myself a 5 or a 6," Ben Shelton said earlier this month, when asked about his gift-wrapping skills.

Then came the kicker.

"I think I can do better than Carlos did."

Based on the Spaniard's performance, that might not be a great accomplishment.

But Shelton was true to his word, as you'll see in the YouTube video below:

As for gifts Shelton as opened?

"When my parents got me my first iPhone, I was pretty juiced," says the 22-year-old.

There's also underwear and mouthwash from mom—who buys her superstar son gifts based purely on need.

"Gifts that don't make you excited, but you need—sorry, Mom."

Could Emma Navarro keep up with her compatriot when it comes to gift-wrapping?

She gave herself a 4 in gift-wrapping: "Not that much experience."

She did, however, commend her ability to properly wrap food in tin foil.

Funny Navarro mentioned that, as one gift on her wish list was a cast-iron skillet.

"I've gotten kind of into cooking because, we don't have the luxury of cooking on the road," she says. "So when I'm home, I like to cook a lot—and I have a bad habit of using my non-stick pan."

For the 23-year-old, slow and steady perhaps won the race. Along the way, Navarro said it might be 2025 before she finished wrapping.
