On Friday in Antwerp, Karen Khachanov went a long way to make the case for Hawkeye Live at every hard court tournament in the future. Up a set and at 7-7 in the second-set tiebreak, Khachanov celebrated when Dan Evan’s forehand landed wide, but no call was made.

He was lucky he received just a warning, but his frustration was warranted and built up. Umpire Adel Nour had also missed one of the worst calls you will ever see at 4-2 in the first set.

Khachanov argued with Nour briefly and suggested they watch the replay together after the match. Denis Shapovalov chimed in to sarcastically express his disdain for the lack of video review in Antwerp, tweeting "Clearly we don’t need Hawkeye on hard courts either anymore."

Evans would go on to win the match 3-6, 7-6 (7), 6-4 and will face Ugo Humbert in the semifinals. The second semifinal will feature Grigor Dimitrov against Alex de Minaur.
