Season 3 of My Tennis Life follows CoCo Vandeweghe and Mackenzie McDonald to give an inside look at what happens when the pros walk off the court as they traverse the globe in search of valuable ATP and WTA points.

After a stellar college career at UCLA saw Mackenzie McDonald win both the NCAA singles and doubles title in 2016, the 23-year-old McDonald turned pro before his senior year. In 2018, he won his biggest career title, a $100,000 ATP Challenger in Seoul, and reached the fourth round of Wimbledon in his main-draw debut. After reaching a career-high ranking of No. 76 in 2018, he’ll look to rise even higher in 2019.

Last year in Melbourne, McDonald qualified and pushed Grigor Dimitrov to five sets in the second round. This year, he matched the effort by winning his opener against Andrey Rublev before falling to Marin Cilic in four sets.

He’s clearly already settling nicely into life on the ATP Tour and the Californian native will share his ups and downs, on and off the court, with fans all season long.
