The stars are in Madrid getting ready for the first big joint clay event of the season. With the main-draw start date still a few days away, Rafael Nadal, Grigor Dimitrov and Roger Federer have already made some fans very, very happy.

Dimitrov made a youngster's day by sharing his practice court with him:

A lucky woman got to come on court and get an enormous hug from world No. 2 Rafael Nadal.

It was worth wait, clearly. He was also greeted by a swarm looking for autographs and selfies.

Playing his first clay event since 2016, Roger Federer is getting even more attention this week.

That year he played Monte Carlo and Rome, but skipped Madrid. The three-time champion last made an appearance at the Spanish ATP Masters 1000 in 2015 when he lost in the first round.

Alexander Zverev isn't in Madrid just yet, but over at his home event in Munich he met with 13-year-old Lilly Groble:

Groble—a huge fan of Zverev's—is a YouTube video creator diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Zverev was the top seed in Munich, seeking some momentum after five early losses. He suffered another tough defeat, losing in three sets to Cristian Garin.
