Last week saw Caroline Wozniacki retire in the second round of Washington against Samantha Stosur with a left bicep tear, which then forced her to withdraw from the Rogers Cup. Now her ranking has slipped out of the Top 50 for the first time since 2008.

Off the court though, the 26-year-old is peaking after guest starring in HBO's Ballers alongside Dwayne Johnson (The Rock).

The former No. 1 plays herself, as Spencer Strasmore (Johnson), a retired NFL player turned sports financial manager, and Joe Krutel (James Corddry) arrive at the Biscayne Open (in Key Biscayne) to do some business with Andre Allen (Andy Garcia).

Strasmore and Krutel first do a stroll of the grounds, walking past courts filled with female players competing (no familiar faces). Krutel delivers a few fairly lewd observances, including, "Do you hear the noises she’s playing when she hits the ball?... This game is so sexual," and "I'd do both of them. I love tennis now."

Finally, Wozniacki makes her grand appearance.

"This is the main reason I wanted to be in the tennis business right here," Allen says, before explaining that he and Wozniacki started the Biscayne Open together.

"He seems to forget it was my idea, especially while he was negotiating my appearance fee," Wozniack says, before delivering her second (and final) line to Spencer, "‘If you want to hit some balls sometime, let me know."

After a quick "bye" and kiss on the cheek, she's gone.

With her first TV appearance in the bag, Wozniacki next plans to head Rio, where she's set to be the flag bearer for Denmark.
