Having a stellar seat doesn't guarantee you a trinket from a player, as one young fan found out the hard way on Tuesday. Jack Sock had just completed his first-round Wimbledon win over Chile's Christian Garin, and a boy in the stands near his chair asked for a towel.

The American obliged, but threw it a little short and looked away quickly. A man seated in front of the young fan grabbed the cherished token instead. Sock realized the mishap later, and is doing his best to locate the boy:

Not only that, but the other three majors jumped on board, trying to erase what is likely a bad memory of Wimbledon for the boy:

If it all works out—and social media will make sure it does—then that's one lucky fan.

Sock will need to return his focus to the court soon, as he next looks to match his career-best third-round result at the All England Club.
