World No. 1 Serena Williams played one of her best matches since the Australian Open on Friday when she beat Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-2, 6-0 in under an hour. Williams scored sweet revenge over the Russian, who upset her in the quarterfinals of the Miami Open earlier this year. Irina-Camelia Begu earned a spot against Williams by taking out Misaki Doi, 6-2, 7-6 (3). The other women’s semifinal is between Madison Keys (who beat Barbora Strycova, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3) and Garbine Muguruza (who took out Timea Bacsinszky 7-5, 6-2).
