A shocking upset at Wimbledon introduced the world to 21-year-old Austrian qualifier Sebastian Ofner. Ranked No. 217, Ofner held off Jack Sock in a thrilling five-setter that has quickly became the highlight of his career.

Meanwhile, Sock couldn’t solve Ofner’s first serve, which produced 15 aces and led to 63 of 79 points (80 percent) won. It’s particularly impressive considering that the Austrian had never played on grass until the past several days.

He also has never won an ATP main-draw match until this week, playing only on the ITF and ATP Challenger circuit this season.

So what did tennis fans learn about Ofner? ATP World Tour did a quick profile that pointed out Ofner is coached by Wolfgang Thiem, father of world No. 8 Dominic Thiem.

And speaking of “Wolfgang,” it’s an interesting coincidence that he looks like the Austrian singer Falco who sang the theme song to the mid-80s film classic Amadeus.

Ofner remained cool and collected in the fifth set, as did his slick hair—which got plenty of attention.

Fans of the early 90s show Twin Peaks might see a resemblance to Agent Dale Cooper.

Ofner’s spike as celebrity for a day goes beyond the court. He had only earned $15,013 in 2017. With two wins at Wimbledon, he is guaranteed $104,000 for making it to the third round. Now he's got both a greater financial stability and a jolt of confidence to compete against the best players in the world.
