Serena and Venus haven’t played doubles together since falling in the quarterfinals of the 2014 US Open. Now they’ve entered into the Rome double draw, thrilling fans and igniting hopes of seeing them team up for another shot at gold in Rio later this year.

The sisters already have three doubles gold medals from 2000, 2008 and 2012. Both have also won singles gold medals (Venus in 2000 and Serena in 2012). They've won 22 titles together including 13 Grand Slams. Here's what it looks like to have that many gold medals:

Serena first  hinted at the reunion on Instagram a few days ago:

Not quite sure why she wants anyone to "pick your detergent," but it certainly looks like a happy reunion.

The world No. 1 hasn’t figured out a mixed doubles partner, but isn’t torn up about that at all as there’s plenty to focus on in her singles and doubles. Surely there are some available suitors out there eager to play with a 21-time Grand Slam champion?

The Williams sisters accepted a wildcard to be able to play in Rome and they’ll open up against Andreja Klepac and Katarina Srebotnik.
