Serena Williams is on fire this week with her winning work on the singles and doubles court in Paris, her clothing store opening, her docuseries wrapping, andappearing on the cover of Harper's Bazaar UK.

First thing's first, the 36-year-old is into the third round of Roland Garros after a three-set win over world No. 17 Ashleigh Barty, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

"I just said I've got to be better, I've got to fight harder," Serena said. "I didn’t want to go out like this. I was doing good, I just was making mistakes. I was doing all the right things"

Alongside her sister Venus, Serena will take to the doubles court on Friday against Kirsten Flipkins and Sara Errani.

"Quite frankly its better than doing two hours of practice," Serena said. "It's fun. I get to work on serves, and returns, and volleys. I made a volley today so that’s exciting."

What's also exciting is that the 23-time Grand Slam champion is featured in a special issue of Harper's Bazaar that celebrates the power of women.

In the feature, Serena reveals on top of her complications following the birth of her daughter in September, that she suffered from postpartum depression.

"Honestly, sometimes I still think I have to deal with it," she told *Harper's Bazaar.* "I think people need to talk about it more because it’s almost like the fourth trimester, it’s part of the pregnancy."

Who better to embody the theme of powerful women than a real life superhero? Serena is certainly looking the part. First she appeared in a sleek bodysuit for her matches in Paris, and now this for the magazine:

"I feel like a warrior in it, like a warrior princess kind of, queen from Wakanda maybe," Serena said about her Nike catsuit. "I'm always living in a fantasy world. I always wanted to be a super hero, and it's kind of my way of being a super hero. I feel like a super hero when I wear it."

Serena is playing in her first Grand Slam since winning the 2017 Australian Open while pregnant. Thursday marked the first Top 20 win of her comeback. She'll try to score another one when she takes on No. 11-seeded Julia Goerges in the third round.
