Caroline Wozniacki is on a hot streak, having just won her second title of the fall season Hong Kong. She has gone from the brink of falling out of the Top 100 at the start of the US Open to a late-season reentry into the Top 20.

Wozniacki, a former world No. 1, was ranked No. 74 when she battled Taylor Townsend in the first round of the US Open.

She survived that match—and many others—to fight her way back to the No. 17 spot, and raised that win number to 19 matches. It's hard to believe there was retirement talk circling the 26-year-old during the US Open.

After reaching the semifinals in New York, Wozniacki's ranking jump has been boosted by her performance during the Asian swing. She added to her trophy collection by taking home the title in Tokyo last month.

Couple that victory with her title win in Hong Kong, and you’ve got one happy Dane.

Despite injuries earlier this season, Wozniacki believed she would return to the top.

"I never doubted that I could come back and make it here because I've worked too hard my whole life on my fitness to keep my body in shape,” she told the WTA. "I knew eventually I would be back."

It'll be exciting to see what the rest of the season, and 2017, holds for this chipper champion.
