The EZONE is Yonex’s most popular franchise thanks to the racquet’s attractive blend of controllable power, easy spin production and comfortable response. It’s one of those frames that almost anyone can pick up and use with almost no adjustment period, and suits a wide range of styles. Yet, for many players it’s simply known as the blue Yonex.
Well, now there’s another option.
The brand-new Aqua Night Black colorway gives the frame a shadowy, stealth look. Rather than the customary blues of recent editions, the base is a darker hue, drawing inspiration from the night sea. Several of Yonex athletes competing at the Australian Open, including Ben Shelton and Jessica Pegula, are swinging the special-edition racquet.
The unique cosmetic will be available in the 98, 100 and 100L models. Outside the alternate color palette, the frames remain exactly the same as the standard version. Each costs $269 and is currently available at tennis specialty retailers.
