This looked served. At the Australian premiere of the upcoming tennis-themed blockbuster Challengers in Sydney, leading lady Zendaya turned heads on the red carpet in a sparkling green dress inspired by the sport.

Besides making Zendaya like a literal tennis ball in the glittering green number (a glamorous spin on a grass court) complete with a plunging neckline, the dress also featured the silhouette of a tennis player reaching up to serve a tri-colored black, silver and tennis-yellow ball on the front.

"I came as a tennis court tonight. A bedazzled tennis court," Zendaya said on the red carpet.

The custom piece by Spanish fashion house Loewe was an ace with fans and critics alike, with Zendaya's longtime stylist Law Roach dubbing her "magic" in a post on Instagram. She even accesorized with matching shoes. (Notably, Loewe's creative director, Jonathan Anderson, designed the costumes for the film, per *Marie Claire*.)

*Harper's Bazaar*'s Chelsey Sanchez dubbed it "a stroke of genius" (in keeping with the tennis puns), while Elle's Alyssa Bailey praised Zendaya and Roach's ability to always dress her "on-theme."

In Challengers, Zendaya plays a one-time tennis prodigy Tashi Duncan who suffers a career-ending injury at the peak of her powers, and later becomes a coach for her husband, a former Grand Slam champion who's set to face Duncan's former partner at a Challenger event. Former ATP player and current coach of Coco Gauff, Brad Gilbert, served as the tennis consultant for the film, and recently told tennis.com's Joel Drucker that despite having never picked up a racquet before, the actress studied the sport closely.

“She was very focused, very determined to learn and do the best work possible,” Gilbert said, praising her athleticism. “She got really good at copying and mimicking swings.”

Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino, hits theaters in the U.S. on April 26.
