Although Alexander Zverev may have double faulted to give the second set to Brandon Nakashima on Wednesday but he was not worried. The No. 5 seed is feeling confident about his 7-5, 6-7 (8), 6-3, 6-1 victory over the 19-year-old American in the second round.

"Not worried," he told US Open press. "Obviously I didn't want to lose the second set, but I know that if I play my game I can still win. So it was one set all, everything was still open."

All in all, Zverev is heading into the US Open third round playing solid tennis. The world No. 7 may have double faulted 10 times, but he also smashed 24 aces and managed to hold serve throughout.

The 23-year-old was asked a variety of questions in press and as usual, reporter Ubaldo Scanagatta had everyone in the virtual room laughing. Zverev is staying at the main player hotet, the Marriott but over in the second hotel, apparently a few weddings have taken place during the US Open.

"I don't know if it was four or not, but I do know there was weddings, yes, at the other hotel, which was not part of the bubble," Zverev said.

"It wasn't you getting married?" Scanagatta asked.

"I did not get married," Zverev said. "I need to find someone to get married too first... I'll invite you, don't worry."

In the recent past, German has been linked to model girlfriends including Olga Sharipova and Brenda Patea. But back to the task at hand, Zverev will take on Frenchman Adrian Mannarino on Friday.
