Zverev, Prakash star in "Fist Bump 2: Fists United"

Oscar season may be over, but here's one for next year:

In 2019, during his run to the Acapulco final, Alexander Zverev was left hanging after offering a post-interview fist bump to Tennis Channel's Prakash Amritraj:

But this time around, Prakash made sure to make things right, taking the initiative to offer the fist pound first. This time, however, Zverev wasn't having it, and jestfully walked away without reciprocating...

That is, until he came back in to give Amritraj a big hug—gloriously edited in the trailer to Fist Bump 2: Fists United.

In the 12 months between those two moments, it's been a bit of a rough time on court for Zverev, who's dropped from No. 3 in the world to No. 7. He did make major moves at the big tournaments, though, reaching the final round of the Shanghai Masters and advancing to a Grand Slam semifinal for the first time, at the Australian Open. He also won the Geneva Open, on clay.

In Acapulco last week, Zverev defeated Jason Jung in the first round, but then lost to American Tommy Paul.

Still, when it's all said and done, Zverev will be far more likely to win a Grand Slam than an Academy Award.
