Roger Federer hasn't been on a tennis court since Wimbledon, but his rehabilitation is underway. His coach, Severin Luthi, said Federer had physical issues coming into the grass-court major, but the infamous fall again Milos Raonic in the semifinals was not a factor in deciding to end his season.

“He is working with the physio…” Luthi said. “This means he is rebuilding the whole muscle structure, the back and the leg ... If he had to play tennis today, he could do that also. The question is at what level and with what price."
