There are reality shows, and there are reality shows. “Martina: My Toughest Opponent,” CNN’s look at Martina Navratilova’s successful battle against breast cancer, quite obviously falls in the second category. The half-hour special, which premieres Saturday, Aug. 7, at 12:30 P.M., follows Navratilova through her treatment, time at work—she continued her commentating duties for Tennis Channel throughout—and on the court, both at Roland Garros and Wimbledon. A number of her tennis colleagues were interviewed for the show, including Billie Jean King, Jimmy Connors, Steffi Graf and Boris Becker.
The show will also be aired on Aug. 8 at 7 A.M., 2:30 P.M. and 10 P.M., and Aug. 10 at 8:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M.
