NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) Andre Agassi took a different kind of path to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

The eight-time Grand Slam champion will be inducted into the tennis shrine on Saturday along with former WTA official Peachy Kellmeyer. Agassi also joins his wife, Steffi Graf, in the Hall. He introduced her at her induction in 2004.

Agassi had a chance to check out his exhibit on Friday. There are the usual crystal bowls and silver trophies, but also his jean shorts and autographed hair clippers.

Agassi said he knew his style was considered subversive to some, but he hoped he brought people into tennis who might otherwise have been turned off by its more traditional ways.
