The 39-year-old Agassi, one of six men to win all four major singles titles, hadn't played in a competitive event since retiring after a third-round loss in the 2006 U.S. Open. He will face Wayne Feirrera in the semifinals.
Aaron Krickstein will play Todd Martin in the other semifinal. Martin beat Jimmy Arias 6-1, 6-4.
