Igor Andreev will replace the injured Nikolay Davydenko in Russia's Davis Cup tie against India, which begins on Friday.

Andreev will face India’s Somdev Devvarman in the opening match. “I was thinking of staying [in North America] to continue practicing for Indian Wells, but I got the call, and am more than happy to play for the Russians,” said Andreev.

Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny will play  Rohan Bopanna in the second match.
