WIMBLEDON, England (AP) Ashleigh Barty of Australia beat Irina Khromacheva of Russia 7-5, 7-6 (3) to win the girls' singles title at Wimbledon on Sunday.
The 15-year-old Barty's win made it an Australian sweep of the junior singles titles after Luke Saville lifted the boys' trophy Saturday.
Barty is the first Australian player to win the girls' title since Debbie Freeman in 1980.
In the boys' doubles final, George Morgan of Britain and Mate Pavic of Croatia beat Oliver Golding of Britain and Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
