Corona Extra has signed a 5 1/2 year sponsorship deal with the ATP worth about $70 million, reports AP.
The agreement was reported to be taking effect in May. It will make the beer brand the top sponsor of the men's tour, with its logo on the sides of the net at ATP events.
For the ATP, the deal serves as a replacement for Mercedes, which ended its sponsorship in 2008.
Sportsbusiness Journal reports that the agreement will require the ATP to buy out any other beer sponsors of its tournaments, such as Miami's deal with Heinekin.
